Frequently asked questions
What buyers ask us before the first order. If yours is not here, write to us and we will answer it ourselves.
What does Corpa manufacture?
Kids cosmetics and role play toys. Makeup cases and sets, nail, lip, hair, bath and body, accessories, and role play kits like doctor, farm vet and racing mechanic sets.
The cosmetics are formulated and certified as cosmetics, not only as toys. That is the part that decides whether a shipment clears customs in a given market.
Which certifications do your products carry?
EN71 for Europe and ASTM for the United States across the catalogue. Those two are what we are asked for most, not the limit: we certify to whatever the destination market requires, and we have done it for over 80 of them.
The cosmetic lines carry full cosmetic certification on top of the toy standards.
Tell us the market you sell into and we will tell you what your shipment needs before you order, not after.
Do you manufacture under licence?
Yes. Most of the catalogue is licensed work, across properties from several rights holders, and each line is produced to that licensor’s own approval process for artwork, packaging and production.
The rest are Corpa’s own brands. Those can be adapted for your market, which licensed properties cannot.
Can you adapt packaging or artwork for my market?
On our own brands, yes. Every line is developed with the customer for their market: the same set changes packaging, language and sometimes formulation depending on where it is going, because customs and labelling requirements change with it.
On licensed properties the licensor’s approval process governs what can change, and we run that process for you.
Where do you produce and ship from?
The office is in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, and production is in mainland China. Shipping goes out of Shenzhen and Yantian.
That split is not an administrative detail: it lets us negotiate licences and develop product from Hong Kong, and manufacture where the supply chain is.
What are your prices and minimum order quantities?
FOB prices, minimum order quantities and lead times are quoted on enquiry, because all three depend on the destination, the volume and how much the packaging has to change.
They are deliberately not published. A number on a public page would be wrong for most of the people reading it.
Tell us the market and roughly what you are looking for, and the first reply already carries the right catalogue and a real quote.
Which markets do you already sell to?
Over 80 countries so far, across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Oceania. The map on the home page shows where.
It is where we have already sold, not how far we go. Every market has its own customs and labelling requirements, and an unmarked country is an opening rather than a boundary.
Where can we meet you in person?
At Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg and at the HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, where we show the full catalogue.
And at either showroom all year by appointment, without waiting for fair season: one in Hong Kong on the same floor as our office, one in Los Angeles.
How do I get the catalogue?
Write to us and say which market you sell into. We answer every enquiry ourselves, and the first reply already carries the catalogue that fits your market rather than a generic one.
The full range is also browsable on this site, by category and by brand.
